Ever imagine what life would be like on a deserted island,
or being in your own bubble or even better… being able to hear yourself think?
Welcome to Elemeno... population 3500. We have 1 supermarket, our downtown area
consists of 15 shops/stores. It pretty much boils down to this…when driving
through our town DON’T BLINK OR YOU WILL MISS US!
We (my little unit of
3) moved to this lovely town from a bustling area in the GTA. Prior to that my
family moved from the land of Usain Bolt and the ever famous Bob Marley. No we
don’t all watch Cool Runnings, we don’t sit on the beach all day drinking
coconut water and ENGLISH is our first language.
Sure I miss eating fried fish and festival on the occasion
that we did go to the beach back home and the fantastic food not to mention the
smell of sugar cane on your way home but Canada has its perks. For instance: I
was able to shoot my first gun a 12 gauge legally, I met my husband when I moved to Canada and I don’t have to
hear the constant cries of creepy old men trying to chase me.
Well enough about me (yea right) let’s kick off with…
adaptation to change is a hell of a thing, however you have adjusted and made the best of it.... i think change is great, recently i stated on three separate occasion that i need a change but seeing you blogging about it just motivates me to push for a change.... (btw)I thought something was wrong with me because old sleazy men and uneducated grimes keep coming after me but i guess a change will end all that...
